Cycling in the Ötz Valley

Hotspot for mountain bikers, freeriders and leisure cyclists

All tyres are welcome here with us. The extra-wide versions, those with a coarse tread or in a narrow racing design, tyres with tube or tubeless, powered by muscle power or electric motor. The cycle path network in the Ötz Valley is as diverse as the bikes themselves. Speedy trails, easy-going shaped lines and magnificent mountain bike routes with a mountain panorama make a stay in Sölden a true cycling holiday.

Hiking on wheels

Exercise, impressive natural landscapes, a well-earned refreshment stop and clear, far-reaching views of the Ötz Valley mountains. This is how good a day in the Tyrolean mountains feels. And if you prefer, you can explore them by bike instead of on foot. Routes covering all levels of difficulty, from almost flat up to a considerable amount of altitude, from leisurely tours to the alpine pasture through to the eternal ice on the Rettenbach glacier provide a touch of variety to your biking holiday. With an e-bike or the classic way using physical strength? It makes no difference at all, it's fun both ways. No bike with you? Simply pop into the Intersport Glanzer branch at the Hotel Valentin, hire state-of-the-art bikes and equipment and experience a hiking tour on wheels. But wait, there is one difference to hiking: You can head back down again with speed on the bike!
